Athens, GA (Mar 2, 2008) - ESPN2 came to Athens, GA tonight for the season ending women's basketball game between the University of Tennessee and the University of Georgia. Pam Ward provided the play-by-play, and women's basketball legend Nancy Lieberman provided the color analysis. Eye on Sports Media asked Brian Powell of Awful Announcing if he had any questions for Pam, and he said no, just "Tell her that I don't hate her and that I hope she doesn't take anything personally." The message was delivered and Brian may or may not like the response Pam had: "I have never heard of that site because I do not read any of them."

Pam and Nancy should direct their comments to the game being played not to what happened years ago. It would be nice to hear what is going on on the court such as what the officials called or who the foul is against, not what somones mother said last year.
