Athens, GA (Aug 29, 2008) - A blog called Southern Saturday has published a leaked copy of the CBS Sports 2008 College Football Schedule, revealing the untold truth behind how CBS selects games for broadcast. Officially, the selections for most games occurs 10 days before the scheduled game. The reality is that CBS Sports has mapped out the games they will cover long before the season starts and publishes them in their production manual. The fact is they really have to so that they can manage the logistics associated with the productions.

The winners in this schedule? Georgia, with 7 possible appearances on the schedule (5 are a lock), and LSU, with 6 possible appearances (4 are a lock), dominate this years schedule. CBS Executives will be knocking wood, hoping the Georgia can live up to the hype and their brutal schedule.
