Maybe Knowshon Moreno's Hurdle Wasn't So Highlight-Worthy

Athens, GA (Sept 21, 2008) - A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the controversy surrounding ESPN not showing Heisman Trophy Candidate Knowshon Moreno's hurdle over a Central Michigan University defender. University of Georgia fans were upset that the highlight was not shown, and a lot of fingers were being pointed back and forth. I was impressed by what he did because I had never seen it done in Sanford Stadium before.

Obviously, I need to get on the road to other stadiums and games like I did yesterday in Atlanta. That is why I saw the same thing done by Mississippi State University running back Anthony Dixon against Georgia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Apparently it was not the first time he has done it as evidenced in this page from the Mississippi State 2008 Football Guide:

So, maybe Moreno's hurdle was not so highlight-worthy. Of course, Moreno outdid himself last night with a much more highlight-worthy touchdown dive into the end zone in a 27-10 victory over Arizona State:

I noticed on gameday they showed every highlight of someone hurdling someone else and kind of referenced Coach Richt in a tongue in cheek fashion. I then realized this probably wasn't all that rare.
