Athens, GA (Oct 23, 2008) - During the Fox Sports pre-game show for last night's World Series opening game between the Phillies and the Rays, the presidential candidates participated in taped narratives. So they got their equal time. But little did we know that the alleged bias of Fox News was spilling over into Ed Goren's sports world. Yes, apparantly some fan or fans thought that the Fox Sports announcers were wearing McCain for President lapel pins!

Note: This is just for satire and is not real!

But no, they were not. There is a big difference in the lapel pins:

The only similarities are the fact that they both start with a "M" and both have a star. But given how small they are when seeing them on TV, it is possible someone might have a conspiracy theory. Don't believe it? This is from our log files last night:

The pins being worn by the Fox Sports broadcasters are, as reported a few weeks ago on this site, in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation as partof the Fox Sports Supports program.

So "nation", as Stephen Colbert would say, stop trying to see a conspiracy everywhere you look! And remember to vote!
